Matrix structure is designed and developed to endure in wild, abrasive and fractured formations. Raptor Series crown design also allows better gauge protection which allows longer bit life at difficult drilling conditions. Raptor Series are suitable for both high-torque and high-rpm drilling units, however we recommend high torque drill units in order to get the best results.

- Longer drilling life in abrasive and/or fractured formations

Raptor® is the impregnated diamond drilling bit designed by Ore Dynamics for the wild drilling conditions. With extra wear pads inserted within the matrix and enhancements made in the matrix structure, Raptor performs better while drilling very abrasive and/or broken rock types.

Currently, for the Raptor Series, we offer 2 standard matrix heights of 9 & 13 millimeters and 7 different matrix hardnesses covering from 4.5 to 8.5 Moh’s Hardness Scale.

Customization Options

Matrix design and structure of the Raptor Series is deisgned to withstand physical forces and impacts occurred down the hole while drilling in wild conditions. This allows minimizing roundtrips in order to change the bit, relatively minimizing costs and risks.

This is why, Carbon developed Rabbit Series with a proven matrix structure in order to help reducing main operational costs while increasing productivity.

Rabbit® Series is an upgraded version of Legend core bits, designed to be used in deep holes with a non-fractured & non-abrasive properties. With our recent research and developments, cutting performance and wear resistance is improved for longer matrix heights. When compared with Legend Series, bit life is extended up to %237.

Reaming Shells

We know that drill string blockage can be frustrating sometimes. This is why we offer 3 waterway configurations for our On-x series which prevents stucking thanks to our "swirl" design.

On-x Series reamers are designed to co-operate with the drilling team. Ore Dynamics offer 2 standard matrix and 3 standard waterway designs for wide drilling applications.
